Everything is great 👍
Sharp knives again. Easier than a whetstone.
Your Set works without one. For a smoother edge, add Polish.
It ships with tracking. Most orders arrive 5 to 9 days after you order; a few take up to 2 weeks. We email you the tracking number when it ships.
Start in three steps. Pick the 15° or 20° end, lean the blade on it and roll the coarse disc along the edge, then refine it with the fine disc. Our How to use guide, on this site and as a PDF, walks you through it.
Not for you? Email us within 60 days of delivery for a full refund. Nothing to send back.
Roller: wood, with a black rubber ring near each end and two diamond discs: a coarse disc to sharpen and a fine disc to refine. The maker labels them 400 and 1000 grit.
Angle block: two sloped ends, 15° and 20°.
Made of: wood, metal and rubber. Natural wood, so the tone varies a little.
In its box: about 8 × 4 × 4 inches and 11 ounces, as the maker lists it.
Lean the flat of the blade against the block's sloped end, 15° or 20°.
Roll the coarse disc along the edge. Then do the other side.
Do both sides again with the fine disc.
After the roll: tomato slices this thin.
Real footage. Same sharpener style.
“Sharpens very well. It was quick and easy. Paper test was passed, did the fine cut on a tomato and it was cut super finely.”
Not sharp enough for you? 60-day money back, nothing to send back.
When in doubt, use the 20° end.
Many German-style and American knives are near 20°. Many Japanese-style knives are near 15°. Makers differ, so if yours gives a number, use that.
The Gift 2-pack is two full Sets in one order: one to give and one for your own knives, or both as gifts.

The Strickle Set has everything you need to sharpen your kitchen knives. The Gift 2-pack is two Sets, for a gift or a second kitchen.
Your everyday kitchen knives: chef's, santoku, utility and carving. Not serrated edges, like bread knives, and not ceramic blades.
It can. Keep the flat of the blade against the block's sloped end, so only the edge meets the disc. The roller's rubber rings can leave black marks; wipe the blade after.
It depends on the knife. A very dull edge takes longer the first time, and we'd rather say so now. Hold the edge up to the light now and then: a bright line along it is a spot that still needs the coarse disc.

It suits a cook who gave up on a whetstone or a pull-through. We don't gift-wrap. A 2-pack may come in two boxes on different days. If it isn't right for them, they can email us within 60 days of delivery with the order number, or your name and email. The refund goes back to the way you paid.
Hold the edge up to the light. A dull spot shows as a bright glint along the edge. Roll that part again on the coarse disc, both sides, then refine with the fine disc.
